The company is a leading provider of telecom cabling and tower installation and implementation.

 

Position Summary

Based in Toronto, Ontario, and reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Operations in Toronto, this Senior Sales Leader will play a critical role in growing new Company Business opportunities. You will be responsible for building a strong sales funnel and in leading in the new business development process for the Region.

 

As a true “Hunter” of new business, you have a proven track record of sales success and are a goal-oriented and self-disciplined sales professional. You excel at developing new business with new customers and in proactively generating leads. As a valued business partner; your strong relationship building skills, mean your customers follow you wherever you go. You are proactive and seek to understand your customer needs and work to solve their business problems with solutions that only the Company’s unique combination of products and services can provide. You are an excellent negotiator with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

Proactively prospect new Business Opportunities through various proven new business development techniques.

Create and build a predictable sales funnel which achieves sales targets.

Leverage new business opportunities through existing Top Canadian Branded companies.

Meet and exceed your individual new business sales quota through repeatable successful structured sales processes and solution selling.

Convincingly communicate the Company’s Value Proposition to prospective new customers.

Diagnose customer needs and collaborate with internal product and operations staff to develop a potential solution.

Nurture relationships with prospective client accounts at all levels of management. Identify priorities, issues, and challenges and apply planning skills to achieve results.

 

Skills and Experience Required

 

7+ years’ of successful corporate sales or account management experience in the B2B Information Technology, Telecom cabling, Tower and Rigging, and/ or Communications Industries in Canada.

Demonstrated success in generating and hunting new business opportunities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and passion to create win-win situations for partners and clients.

Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment without close supervision.

Build trust, value and demonstrate high level of professionalism and integrity.

Goal oriented, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales and other personal and professional goals.

Demonstrated combination of creative, technical, and analytical skills that have provided innovative and flexible solutions for prior customers.

Dedication to the creation and maintenance of a collaborative team environment.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and CRM software coupled with the ability to write high quality winning sales proposals.

Strong relationship building, consultation, and interpersonal skills.

A minimum of an undergraduate degree is required.
