If you want to be part of something big in the exciting and dynamic world of global telecommunications, come and join our team. We are looking for a Project Manager to join the telecommunications team in our Vaughan and Etobicoke offices.
About the Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including coordination with engineering and design teams of construction drawings, structural analysis reports, and field services. Reporting to the Vice President, the Project Manager will play a key role within the organization as the communication hub with internal and external clients. The Project Manager will also be the main point of contact for our clients providing tendering, contract negotiation, construction review and contract administration for telecommunications projects. The Project Manager will be familiar with telecommunication clients and can assist in business development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage construction and technical installation teams
- Manage all phases of telecommunication deliverables for construction drawings, structural analysis, and field services
- Coordinate communication between engineers, field staff and clients
- Work with project design leads in defining, estimating, and negotiating project parameters and deliverables
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for site development, while monitoring project costs and controls to ensure that projects stay within budget
- Process project invoices and ensure invoices are paid promptly
- Cost control and contract management
- Advise clients and management of any project delays or budget changes and provide resolutions or alternate actions as required
- Interfacing with all levels of Management both internally and externally
- Provide final quality control on all deliverables
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
- 5 years minimum of experience in managing telecommunication projects.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a strong track record of achieving goals and objectives within tight time frames
- Experience with project management and excel for tracking, reporting, and analyzing progress
- Motivated to build existing client relationships and develop new client relationships
- PMP Certification considered an asset

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with building owners, design professionals, contractors, and municipal authorities
- Strong priority management and organizational skills
- Confidence in decision making
- Strong Knowledge of Telecom Principles
Working Environment
- Regular hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, however some flexibility is required based on business needs
- On site working out of 2 GTA locations; Vaughan and Etobicoke
- Occasional Site Visits to different locations required (indoors and outdoors)
- 85% Office Setting; 15% Site Visits
- All extra Covid PPEs provided, maintaining distance on job sites
