Description

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging individual who is ready and willing to challenge themselves by utilizing their unique collection of knowledge, skills and experience in new ways in the following capacity:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Actively engage in continuous talent management practices with team members (i.e. performance management, coaching, career planning, etc.) in alignment with the company’s processes and corporate standards.
  • Initiate and participate in regular (bi-weekly) team meetings; clearly and regularly communicate corporate and contract objectives with the team to maintain strategic alignment with service objectives.
  • Conduct regular branch meetings with the engagement of Sales and Operations teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to manage profit and loss targets; set pricing; and engage in strategic planning for large quotations.
  • Attend vendor meetings on a quarterly basis, or as needed based on business need.
  • Review, manage, and maintain branch processes; and comply with all inventory management processes and procedures.
  • Audit and maintain Conveyor Systems & Components division processes to ensure compliance with health & safety and the company’s ISO–9001 standards; actively identify areas for improved efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Efficiently manage division workflow and resources, maintaining smooth operation; implement sound solutions to mitigate workforce gaps (e.g. headcount and succession planning) to ensure continuous customer and team support.
  • Action and resolve escalation issues professionally and in a timely manner, while role modelling the company’s constructive and customer focused culture.
  • Coach and guide internal customers to promote effective knowledge sharing and competency development/enhancement.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO OUR TEAM:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, with a focus in business or a technical discipline preferred.
  • 2-3 years people management experience
  • Experience interacting with all levels of an organization from Senior Management to field, as well as customers.
  • 5 years experience in MRO industry or conveyor systems and related components and services; or equivalent experience in a similar industry
  • Experience in sales is a strong asset
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to develop strong relationships
  • Proficient in Excel, Word; as well as PowerPoint advanced presentations
  • Evidence-based decision- making skills
